So, im curious. For those with linux phones... What do you know abt elf files. They are being introduced to v360 with helloworld and screener being the firsts one. Will the development of elf files mean that my modest v360 will be able to run linux based apps? Assuming that linux phones use elf files or the elf platform. * +

Never heard of it... What apps are you running or what exactly is it? Anyway Linux apps are RAM consuming, and V360 doesn't have the resources to do that, I use virtual memory to increase the RAM for some applications, like DOS (apps games) or OPIE. But it is possible that the smaller ones that doesn't use this much to work, who knows. Anyway, on Linux forums I haven't seen the elf platform. * +

http://www.motorolafans.com @gohanz. Linux seems a bit complicated first, but after it's like riding the bike. To backup your system files for example is just a copy/paste operation. What more simplier than that is there? * +

to set records straight elf is not linux but rather a linux based platform which is much faster than java but its in development phase and the reason why there arent many elf applications. word on the street is that there are new elfs at motofan.ru but finding anything there is a mission. * +
