I need to know as soon as possible if the L7e can play different ringtones and message alert tones for a given contact. When I had a regular L7 whatever ringtone I assigned would also play when I received messages. I was not so enthused about that. * +

it has 1.3 megapixel camera 20MB internal memory and EDGE technology..other than that, same as L7. * +

Actually it also supports stereo Bluetooth (A2DP), streaming video, a new improved user interface (matching that of the KRZR I believe), and a more capacious battery so it lasts longer on a given charge. So can anyone tell me if it rings the same for messages as for incoming calls? Or can you assign seperate tones for each on this new model? * +

Thanks osbert. I usually use Nokias and I am not in favour of hearing the same alert/song playing for both messages AND incoming phone calls. Do you own an L7e? *
