U can use a gig mmc but it only registers 512meg on ur fone, dont ask why, its motorola! * +

In most countries 512mb was the highest trans' but sandisk introduced the 1gig more makers r now using transflash the likes of LG. Samsung.Benq.etc b4 it was only Moto. So by demand the size will reach 2 or 4 gig. * +

Yes, 1 gig memory card will work. But 2 gig card will not. Found this info on a popular Moto Modding website. I use 1 gig card in my V3x. Works great! * +

When they make a expandable memory. De software can reduce de KB's automaticaly. If u put 64mb card it will say total available is 62mb's. 2 avoid crash. De 2gig will make it that i know. How de modders can say it wont? Its not yet made. * +

2Gb Works Perfectly Fine. The Reason The Mem Card Picks Up As 62mb Is Because The Other 2 Is To Store Filesystem Structure And Bad Sectors. *
