i got V550 from my sista but she 4got her unlock and security code..i tried resettin it wit da opcodes given in da mobiles 4 dummies posts but dunno how to enter it when i try witout sim just keep sayin emergency calls only an when try wit sim doesnt do anytin..pls help! * +

phone has to be on wit sim and thanks to da mobile for dummies you press the menu (not middle arrow button) and enter in 048263* rapidly then it should show da opcode menu then enter in 32 ok, 118 ok, 1 ok, 0 ok, 0 ok after that take the number of after every 003 * +

its not givin me any opcode menu when fone is on it asks for unlock code..when i press menu it asks security code afta pressin 048...etc.it just sez security code incorrect... * +

u can enter opcode menu witout sim. when u see please insert sim screen press *# 06# to see IMEI THEN press menu 048263* to enter opcode menu * +
