I have a i870 and my uncle has boost.when his broke he wanted to get a number from his sim i let him put his card in my phone and it worked good.but i dont think u can buy a i870 from nextel without a plan.but in boost its called the i875. * +

Yeap its very good phone.i cant wait till the i580 come out its just like the i870 but its made for dirt,rain,and high winds.i think i'll get that one for my husband. * +

U can put any sim card in any type of boost or nextel sim cards are really 0nly for ur saved phone numbers * +
