Its jus different formats. 3gp has better compression so the videos r usually smaller. The quality is more or less the same. * +

Avi videos r mainly 4 pc so they have a higher resolution which makes their quality much better than 3gp or mp4 which r better suited 4 fones. * +

mp4 has beter sound and picture quality. 3gp sucks, the sound is distortd * +

it depends how you encode each. for example variables include video bitrate, video resolution, video frame rate, audio bitrate audio wide or narrow band. you can however get an episode of lost or 24 to about 60 meg and it will be watchable on phone. if anyone wants help on video and or encryption they can pm me. *
