The old pound coin goes out of circulation Oct 15th as far as I can gather.my partner has already had a new 10 note.I think people are going 2 lose these new notes.I don't like them! * +

I got 250 quid out the cash-point the other day, all of it was virgin plastic tenners. Was horrible, they were all over the place but i couldn't shuffle-count them, was like crazy golf. They didn't wanna fold over, either. Had to put them in a zip pocket flat.

The fivers still haven't matured, they just get rigid creases in them, it's like having a pocket full of crisps.

I mainly use cards, if it wasn't for the vending machines at work i think i'd drop cash altogether. * +
