Lyons orange maid my favourite lolly, and they did a lolly called a Mivvi in 3 flavours, strawberry, raspberry, and pineapple, but as someone said, have not seen Lyons maid since the 1980s, they sold Lyons ice cream in helston cinema. We used to have Mr Whippy come here 3 times a week. The van had lot of Walls products. These days we have a mister softee ice cream van. But his ice cream is watery. Fkn horrible stuff it is.

Mr Whippy was the best whipped ice cream, was very creamy, tasted like custard, the Mister Softee is whipped, but is so thin you have to down it a bit sharpish before it runs away! And no taste with it, its rather like watered down cream rather than ice cream. It would have been okay for me when i was a child, mum used to buy us an ice cream in a tub., sometimes i would wait till mine had melted and drink it. * +
