Yes i agree, far too early, i think the last time i saw Billy Fury on television he came on to opportunity knocks to introduce a group that he knew and discovered, they were good and won it 3 weeks running, i think that they were called 2nd City Sound. The fourth week they lost to a so called comedian who was to my mind about as funny as toothache! I was hellish about it. I think that the best comedian who found fame on opportunity knocks was the late and great Les Dawson.

Last time i remember seeing him was as a guest on ''This is your life'' for Mary Wilde. He passed not long after. I still blast his songs smile2
