I went into a chip shop in Newcastle and asked for a roll and chips. They laughed! So imagine if you will me relating the story to a pal in Glasgow. Me. 'You know what they call a roll and chips in Newcastle?' Pal.'You mean they don't call it a roll and chips?' Me. 'No they've got the metric system man, they wouldn't know what the fuuck a roll and chips is!' Pal, so what do they call it?' Me 'A chip bam!' Pal 'A chip bam!'
