Subject: Old School Dinners

I enjoyed most school dinners, my favourites were a roast spuds pork and cabbage.. Meat and potato pie, also sometimes had fish pie and boiled spuds i used to put loads of tomato ketchup over mine. Favourite pudding has to be steamed golden syrup sponge and custard, shortbread with pink custard, steamed chocolate sponge with lemon custard. ( my school dinners were even better than the swill dished up to the staff at the hotel i worked in, and they were pro chefs for fk sake!!!. * +

Before i hit my teens and refused to go to school i remember in middle school you got put on sittings like 1st 2nd 3rd and fourth...Fourth was scr*ps left over so i joined the choir??so i could go on 1st to get a better dinner * +

Aye, same here, at secondary school we had 1st 2nd and 3rd sittings, i was on 2nd sitting. Was okay i didnt mind so much as it made afternoon a bit shorter. *
