Well I heard that rain is millions of little fairies tears falling from the sky! Seemingly when someone, somewhere utters the words 'I don't believe in fairies' one of the fairies will fall from the sky, and sadly pass away in a puff of glitter. The tears are from those that mourn the sad death of one of their own! ... A little fairy told me... * +

Rain and other forms of precipitation occur when warm moist air cools and condensation occurs. Warm air can hold more water than cold air, so when the warmer air is cooled the moisture condenses to liquid.. and it rains.
