@ lady.whu: cancel the direct debit at your bank and put the money in a bank account.If you're a 100 quid in credit,work out an average of what to put away weekly or monthly.When the quarterly bill comes,you'll have enough to pay it with some left over,or just a bit to add to depending on Summer or Winter use.My old mother had same problem as you and did what I suggested and is better off. * +
