...something I thought wouldn't do so soon....after 16 months of happy iPad Mini use, I've gone and upgraded, ordered an Air...I tried to resist, but the bigger, clearer screen, and more RAM was too tempting, after I spotted em on Amazon for 408 qud for the Black one. Hopefully gonna get around 160 for the Mini, so technically got it cheaper than what I paid for the Mini, fingers crossed * +

I keep looking at iPads. I have an iphone 5 and my son has an iPad. Don't know if I'd use one if I got it chin.gif * +

I got a mini. Retina display one. Processor is the same as an air. Well everything is. Apart from the mini has a higher screen resolution. * +

Screen quality: Air versus Retina Mini
The iPad Mini with Retina Display has a screen resolution that matches the iPad Air's: 2,048x1,536. In 7.9 inches, it's a denser pixel-per-inch resolution. Does that matter? On both iPads, you'd have to take out a jeweler's loupe to see the actual pixels with your own eye. Text on both looks crisp and clean from nearly any distance, and both have similar screen brightness. *
