Anybody got an iPad Air here? How is the battery life compared to a iPad4 or iPad3? I see it has 1GB RAM like my iPad4, would it really be worth the upgrade? Is performance significantly better? Thanks. Tempted to get a iPad Air 64GB or 128GB but a part of me thinks I should wait until late 2014. chin.gif * +

From an iPad 4, I don't think it's worthy of an upgrade. Performance on high end games is definitely better but not astonishing. Battery life is identical. * +

Thanks Akash. Think I will wait, for the iPad Air 2 maybe? I hear there maybe a iPad Air Pro but from the sounds of it it will be much larger than the Air and be more of an enterprise type device. All I want now is a smaller bezel, more internal memory and more RAM, if the Air had got 2GB RAM I'd be all over it. * +

1 thing to note is, specs doesn't matter much on iOS devices as the OS itself is not very resource hungry and has been optimised to a point where it takes advantage of the hardware in a better way, therefore, it really doesn't matter how much ram is there on paper, the last 2 -3 gens of iPad and iPhones work perfectly. Don't worry with the specs. * +

I'm aware of all that but the RAM matters a lot at this point as Safari almost always has to reload my browser tabs if I leave it even for a few seconds sometimes, especially in iOS7, it drives me nuts. Apple are now pushing it when it comes to RAM, the iPad needs 2GB to run like a serious tablet. I like to have Safari, Flipboard, Bloomberg, Twitter, FB and Tumblr going as I frequently use them, and it is discouraging each time I go into them and some have to reload. * +

Well, I'm using a 4th Gen iPad and I'm not facing any issues at all. * +
