how can i back ipod touch firmware onto computer? I want to back it up as a file on my computer, so that i can restore it if anything goes wrong while learning how to jailbreak it. I want to be able to hold shift key down in itunes while clicking restore, and then select the file * +

thanks nfxcr3w, but i'm trying to avoid doing that if i can. Got very dodgy internet connection. Lol. If i can download from hotfile, then i can normaly download large files, but with my normal connection it stops downloading after about 40 megabytes, and i can't resume. Just get stuck in endless circle of restarting and stopping. * +

also, i'm new to this. Scared i download the wrong firmware, then attempt something, it goes wrong, then i cant restore. If i had the actual firmware from ipod then i know for sure it's the right one * +
