i dont know if im in the right forum, but its a apple product. when i swith on a ipod touch the only thing i get its the itunes logo with a usb cable. i cant go into menus nor itunes recognizes the device. it says error. i could buy it second hand but just wanted to know if it is repaireble, or just look for a new one * +

I am no expert, but, if its cheap I would buy it. You can go into DFU mode and then do a restore. Or use iRecovery. * +

how can i go into dfu mode if i only get the itunes logo and the touch screen is not reacting to anything at all? * +

think u first have the device connected to ur computer wit itunes opened n then on ur device hold down the power n home button think it wil go in dfu mode * +

Get iTunes running put your USB cable in to pc and iPhone , hold power and home button together when u get a apple logo take finger off power button and keep. Your home button pressed that way iTunes should find your phone * +
