i hav a 8gb 3g iphone that had version 3.0 install...ma lil bro brought it to the states was using it then tryed updating it..now its frozen? any idea on how i can unfreese it? * +

Failing that run purplera1n on it untill you see the phones gone into recovery mode then recover via Itunes,worked for me when my 3gs kept rebooting. * +

akash most i got it to do is access stuff on the phone and apps etc just cant make and recieve calls * +

Was it unlocked?! Is there any law in the US that prevents you from using the phone?! If so then there is a possibility that the network provider must have detected unauthorised usage from your imei and barred the phone. * +
