Cut rhe file you want to use, between 28 and 31 seconds with a sound editor such as Adobe Audition. Save the edited file (preferrably in lossless .wav format for quality purposes). Go into iTunes, create a playlist called ringtones. Look for the recently created file, drag it into your ringtones playlist in iTunes. Right click the file in iTunes and choose ''create aac version''. Right click... * +

...the aac version and choose ''get info'' so you know where the file was stored. Go to the file with Windows Explorer and change the format from .m4a to .m4r. Double click the .m4r file and voila!! It will automatically be added to the ringtones menu in your iTunes. All that's left to do is sync your iPhone and that's it
