jail breakers might come with that solution too like they did in video recording, copy paste, thetring , snapture , I think there is a plugin in cydia for safari it says it will allow downloads not sure check it out * +

Guide-Jailbreak Phone-Open Cydia-Tap Search--Write Boss-BossPrefs Should appear in the results-Download it-Go back to search in cydia-Write Safari-Safari Download Plugin Should Appear-install it-go back to search results-tap Safari download plugin Boss Prefs control-installi it-Reboot phone-Open Boss Prefs-Turn Safari DL Plugin ON-You are DONE. If u want to turn the plugin off, simply go to BossPrefs and turn it OFF, Safari will do the usual streaming then. * +
