Has anyone bought an iPhone off ebay, unlocked and used a non O2 sim in the uk? If so have you had any problems with it or has it orked fine? * +

I didn't get it on ebay but it works with other networks all 02 contract phones r unlocked but there is 1 problem i cant get the gprs settings from another network cause they don't have that phones yet . * +

In France I think Apple are required to either have the iPhone unlocked or produce unlocked versions of the iPhone. byblau, isn't there somewhere where you can enter the settings manually? A quick Google will give you tell you what to enter, surely... and if there is nowhere to enter the setting manually, then that's another reason to NOT but an iPhone

driver many internet scams have been reported so be careful but on the other hand its super easy to unlock. Jus look around on hacking0sh.org for 15 mins *
