Bought this on release and only got round to playing this weekend. Outstanding campaign add on. Set nearly a decade after e-day and before Marcus is released, u take control of zeta squad consisting of old favourites Tai(gears 2) Kim(gears 1) and previously unseen characters Barrick and token female Valeraz as they embark on a rescue mission in the final days of Illum city, you also get to play as general Raam(gears of war) as you lead your squad of elite locust to establish seeders in the city * +

anyone who's played gears of war 3 will immediately warm to the plot and recognize characters, locations and the enemies. you control Barrick for the bulk of the dlc which lasts 3-4 hours, Barrick is a balding, cigar smoking, middle aged soldier who would give Marcus Fenix a run for his money as grumpiest tough guy. the levels are fantastic looking and all built from new, plenty of fighting but also a few quiet moments where the game downplay's the action, for example, walking through an appar * +

-ant deserted school in the dark before being jumped never failed. playing Raam wasn't all that great, your only weapons were the kryll and a knife, it was slow and sluggish. still, pretty good and hope to see more 8.1/10 * +
