Are the new generation of consoles coming out? It used to be around every 5 years but Xbox 360 came out like 7 years ago now. * +

Wii U end of this year. Next xbox and playstation? Best guess- Probably next year. Maybe a year from now. 360 is six and half, PS2 was six and half when it was replaced. PS3 could be about the same. * +

Ok six and a half to be pedantic lol i was working up from 2005. My mate got one in December 2005 not long after it came out. I think PS3 was around March 2007. * +

I wouldn't expect any news of any new consoles at this years e3, playstation has just had the vita released and they will focus on that and Microsoft is still selling because of the price and also the endless possibilitys with kinect...... Why would they bring a new console out? * +

both Sony and Microsoft have stated............. the ps3 and 360 have a lifespan of 10years......... if that's true dont expect any new consoles till 2015 * +

well Xbox and Playstation must be a long way behind pc's in performance. 5 years is ages in technology terms. 10 years may as well be 100 years lol * +
