I just been and bought the new halo book, halo 'grasslands' tells the story of Kilo-five, a team consisting of five ODST's, a diabolical AIAnd a Spartan super soldier. It takes place shortly after the events of halo 3 and while not mentioning the chief it does provide possible plot points to the next trilogy * +

The next trilogy will obviously be about Master Chief realising he's gay and exploring a new world of possibilities. The term 'Ring World' ends up taking on a new meaning, and he ends up sporting fruity new pink armour and is voiced by Alan Carr. * +
