Play has already said this. You need the wireless adapter. Simple. 
plug that in, sync it like you would to a 360 and job done. Split second and shift both recognise the 360 controller automatically when its turned on, and configure themselves instantly for it. Easy peasy. Course for brain dead morons like gullible plugging in a USB device and then pressing two b*ttons is blood hard but you'll cope oetinger i trust ya

those controller even come in packs with the receiver for pc. its the same as i would say xbox is cr*p becouse it doesnt support a ps3 pad 
by the way i use a ps3 pad on my pc with just downloading an app called motioninjoy without buying anything else have both wireless and usb connection can you do that on an 360? lol * +

download the software drivers for ur pc,wireless works well use to use it till i lost my reciever,now using those cheap cr*py hama wired controllers b*ttons r so stiff and response is off
