Valve has announced that Steam sales have more than doubled in 2011, compared to 2010. Year on year sales have increased by more than 100 per cent for the seventh straight year, said a statement issued by Valve. However no specific number was given.This follows the announcement that there were more than five million users online at the same time during Christmas, or around an eighth of its user base.
