Those were the days, heading to the local paper shop, aged 12, waiting to get my next fix of cheats and tips from the magazine Gamesmaster, at times even spending my time in the shop writing down cheats so I could try them out when I got home.. And it was a bonus if I could afford a copy.. I wonder if any of you old school gamers recall any cheats youve used in the past? * +

I remember them days. There was also the Nintendo cheat hotline that charged you a pound a minute or something.

One I remember like yesterday was Sonic 1s level select cheat on the Megadrive.. 19, 65, 09, 17, press a and start, on the title screen, and if u added C after each direction and held down all a,b and c b*ttons you could mutate into different items..

i rem wen i was small on sonic ther was a cheat an u got super sonic, the yellow 1 who flies, u used 2 bust open a little tv an watever was inside turned u in2 super sonic :) * +
