Mates sister got an xbox for her lad this xmas,now to the best of my knowledge it was given away as part of a buy this phone get a console deal last year. What i do know is,she bought it from some la55 she works near,looked like the box was never opened yet has burned/scratched 2 games he tried to play. I havent seen the games,but i seem to remember something similar being mentioned here a while ago. Any ideas * +

could be from moving console while disc is spinning, i think installing games will sort tha out. * +

yeah laser burn happens when its moved while running a disk. wad always a common problem. * +

Always make sure your 360 is connected to the mains if you want to play it. If you don't, it won't turn on. * +
