depends on how much u buy from the store, if u want game betas or not, theres alot of free stuff every month, good discounts, try the 3 month subscription, the free stuff and discounts come to alot more than that, although if u download a game for free and dont renew your subscription u can't keep the game anymore, but if u renew u can get quite a few free games for 40 a year

the amount of free games, themes, avatars and sometimes dlc there is in a year come to alot more than 40 a year by the way, so some free things, u get the auto update thing, u can set the ps3 to download patches and other things whenever u want, it'll come on automatically, then u install them when u want, and cloud saving. u can turn auto renew off incase u think its too * +
