On a PS3, I want to add more memory as I have only got a 40GB model. If I put more in does it void the PS3 of warrenty? * +

No, it's a user replaceable part. YouTube it for a guide. Only difficult part is removing the blue screw made of plasticine. You need to buy a 2.5in SATA hard drive. Western Digital drives on amazon are excellent. * +

Yeah, there's been a crisis in Thailand because of flooding... you could have got a 250gb one for 30-40 quid before, but atm they're 60-70

holy cr*p the prices really have gone up :O make sure u get the right screw driver, it'll reformat the drive and ask u to install firmware which you'll need on a usb stick, sometimes it doesn't though but do it to be sure * +

You mean add more storage space or a bigger hardrive, not memory. * +
