Well this is by far my favourite sonic game yet in the past 20yrs, the only way to play it properly is to have a j*p megadrive, mega cd and a j*p copy of the game. The game did come on Sonic Gems but was a terrible pc post and the pal version was 50hz only and had the American soundtrack. Well 20 yrs on and sega decide to bring it out for download on 360, ps3 and pc i think. Well thank you very much Sega but i won't be buying it. I would happily pay for a hard copy but not digital. * +

They could of put this on Sonic Generations or even on the sequel, or even another pack.....anything but digital. They put the original sonic on Sonic Generations yet nobody wants that now, sonic cd would of been perfect. Well its unlikely it will ever get released on disk now so my only option is to hunt down the j*p mega cd original or burn an iso and play it on the original xbox. * +

If it was jtagged then maybe, not that clued up on the 360 emulation scene to be honest. * +

Well i did that today but It's not perfect. Game runs good but no music on the levels, i get music on the intro and sound effects in the game but no music. I did a little research and read it may have something to do with the music being mp3 when they should be wmv or something. I will figure it, just using pc to test and once i get it right I'll try and get it sorted to play on xbox. * +

i played on my phone in tv-out with a wiimote. you dont have to own a j*p megadrive * +
