EA announced Dead Space 3, however, is apparently not cancelled. The insider told Kotaku that the game will feature co-op and is set on an ice planet. That backs up earlier rumors that Dead Space 3 will be trade pitch blackness for a blinding, frozen tundra. As Kotaku previously posted, the next entry takes place on the planet Tau Volantis. Definitly on the cards. The last game ended with the superior saying 'other site's will have to pick up the pieces'. But just because the game will be set in an icy waste it doesn't mean it'll be a brighter experience. As for its similarities to the thing, it's not really. The marker is man made. The thing is alien. The marker was built. The thing crashed. * +
