thanks for replies. Understand the usb stick theory. Just i wanted to do it wirelessly. I searched for media server on ps3 and it found nothing. I'm guessing the laptop didn't have media thing on or something. How do i get ps3 to find laptop? Where is the setting on the laptop to get the ps3 to pick it up? * +

dudes i'm fick when it comes to computers. Only had this laptop thing a few days so just learning myself. It has windows xp professional on it. Also has vlc media player on it. Bought it off cousin. Its for skybet really. Just bit clueless at mo. Dunno how to turn media sharing on. Or whatever its called. Any help appreciated. * +

Just go on google and search for tversity or ps3 media server, then add your movies file to the settings * +
