Picked up the HD Trilogy on disc earlier and I'd nearly forgot how good the first one was. Yeah it's aged but still doesn't look too bad, but compared to more recent stealth games it's a breath of fresh air. Just puts some games like a55 assin's Creed into stark relief. Forgot how tense a 'real' stealth game could be. Deus Ex was close, but I'm glad I finally got this. * +

Assassins creed destroys this * +

Hardly. As much as I enjoyed a55 assin's Creed II it aint a stealth game, not in the real sense. Everything's handed to ya on a plate ffs. Way too easy, next to impossible to get stuck as what ya have to do is spelt out for ya. Great action game, but a poor stealth game * +

Original Splinter cell were better games. However it could be frustrating when something you did at the start of a level basically failed you nearing the end of it and you didn;t really know what it was that caught you out * +

My main quibble is ya can't invert the camera, but I'm getting used to it, and with it being a slower pace it's not as big a problem as if it was a faster action game * +

Camera invert- greatest thing since sliced bread * +

Forgot how good a character Sam Fisher is too. The dark one liners. He'd smash Solid Snake's face in. * +

But then again I'm biased cos I'm a big Michael Ironside fan lol * +
