Think the perception is a bit different from that, both men was liked, Gates does a lot for charity, think Jobs might have been the same, its the companies that are perceived different,Apple is more of a closed product ie ipod,ipad, itunes, mac etc...basic your given the choice if you buy them or a different mp3, computer system etc.. * +

so not seen so much as a forced (yeah i know itunes, but still have a choice)or anti competition but windows systems seem to be everywhere and dominates pc software, they got fined several times for anti competition, so it looks like less choice to the consumer so some people see and since Gates was the face of MS, he maybe got most of the judgement in his direction. * +
