future games with online features will need a one time pa55 for those online features, which does mean while u can play the single player but the online will be locked if u buy the game pre-owned. So far its for first party I.P,s like uncharted 3. But if it goes multi think of it Battlefield 3, MW3, fifa 12 and on, if it shows results u can expect xbox to take this up. * +

All those other games have online passes anyway. All the PSN pa55 is Sony's online pa55 for their own games, nothing more. * +

Doesn't seem to be having much an effect on trade in values yet either. Space Marine had an online pass, still got 30 quid for it when I traded it in after finishing single player * +
