This is an Action/Driving game, developed by Reflections and published by Ubisoft for the Nintendo 3DS. First, there was Grand Theft Auto... and it was good. Then came Driver, doing GTA style gameplay in 3D several years before GTA did it itself. * +

More recent Driver games have expanded the gameplay, letting you run around shooting and stealing cars... this, however, locks Tanner in his car again. Yes, you are stuck in the same car for the duration of the mission. Newer games in the series have also improved the graphics massively over the original. * +

This one takes a step back, thats not to say its a bad looking game, but when it looks worse than the now 4 year old Driver 76 on the PSP its a little saddening, the cars look much less realistic and blocky and there is a large amount of pop-up on screen. The cars sound very droning and buzzy, and the music, though you can choose it (in Career mode) isnt very good in my opinion. * +

There are licenced tracks, but nothing stands out or is memorable. The gameplay, to be honest doesnt stand out either. It is a fun game at times, but not being able to get out of the car and shoot things, or pick a different vehicle is a huge shame. The cars dont handle particluarly well either. * +

There is a large selection of cars, with 50 if them in the game. But as they dont look very good, or drive well it doesnt give much motivation to unlock them all. There is a decent amount of content though. The main Story mode has around 20 missions, most are pretty short though. The Career (race) mode is where most of the gameplay is located. * +

There are over 80 challenges to play through here, with several different styles of play, from ordinary races to Elimination and even Battle races. Ill have to admit this mode is quite a lot of fun, but it doesnt stop the overall package being a disappointment. * +

This game is a lot of fun at times, but sadly, it isnt a must buy. For a portable GTA style game the best is still GTA Liberty City Stories on the PSP. *Number 1 videogames reviewer on Prodigits* * +
