Western RPGs have totally eclipse their JRPG counterparts. We are beginning to see how Japanese developers lack skills and ceativity, and that we only played their overrated games for so long because we didn't know better. I mean, who would actually buy the next Final Fantasy over Skyrim? No one, as expected. * +

its the same with all japan games, they change to much and spoil the game, i loved final fantasys 7 to 10, but then the ps3 and 360 came out and they changed to much making it rubbish and leaving people infuriated. the best way to level up was random battles BUT they changed that and it got boring trying to level up enough to beat the end of chapter boss. * +

Im trying to be as fair as possible here. There have been good RPGs from japan, but none worth playing over and over again. They stick with the same formula that worked 20 years ago. No one caree about 2 spikey hair people getting it on anymore or which one dies in the processe of saving the world * +
