as it transpires you must agree to allow EA install spyware alongside origin, which monitors web usage, and can scan your hard drive for illegally downloaded software.

Origin of course is mandatory for all purchases of battlefield 3 on PC. if only the master race could be trusted not to pirate every single PC game eh * +
