After Activision dumped it it was thought it was gone for good....but Square Enix have bought it off them, currently working on restaffing the dev and the London studio that supervised Arkham Asylum and Just Cause 2 will be overseeing the game...though they've not bought the rights to the True Crime name so the game will have to be renamed. * +

The game was supposed to be almost finished when it was canned....maybe they're gonna just finish it up, or maybe spend more time working on it to make it better....think the rumours were it was shaping up to be a decent game. Dont get me wrong, i like the 2 true crime games on the ps2.......... if the gameplay is identical to the last 2 games, i wont be buying it, surly the new true crime should have better fighting and gameplay? i did read in a game magazine months ago......... this game should be avoided? * +
