Hi, i have trouble charging my PSP bettery. I recently started using it after a 1 and half year delay. Is the battery officially dead? Must it be replaced? and i can only play it after taking the battery out and pluging it in on external. Thanx! * +

u will need a new 1 are just leave it on charge for like 4 hours see what happens the juice in bat might just need a little time to get up and running again * +

Are the batteries cheap? I remember reading that they have a chip in them that actually boots the PSP. * +

my psp does this sometimes. even after a week. i just leave it on charge overnight. * +

Ive not had any probs with mine. Had my PSP 2 years and still get a good amount of life in it. * +
