no they said it countless times due to money and time 
building the golden saucer and the mini games in that will be like building a stand alone game atm * +

yeah thats a given but might dent a few new staffs ego's and this will have to be spot on HD, hardly any bugs and full size not like the last one * +

True. At least this would have guarenteed sales, unlike the other cr*p they spew out these days like FF13 and FF13-2. They would be better of making an effort with a 7 remake. * +

If they dont touch the gameplay it should be ok. Modern games are too linear, they dont make em like they used to. * +
