my mate son got a slim 360 he got the old gta games 4 it vice city ect ect when u put them in it comes up on screen cant play try download it agen has anybody got any ideas how to get them to work and thanks. * +

I very much doubt that the old GTA's are backwards compatible....you do realise Vice City etc are from the orignal Xbox? Not the 360? * +

on the dashboard when disc is in its says play game soon as u press play that message comes up iv tryed them on my 360 and they work just dont undastand why they dont work on his. * +

some of the old xbox games used to work directly, others repudisee an update via xbox live.Your best bet is to get the update. If your xbox is hooked up to the net then the update would of already gone through. If they still dont work,chances are those games were never backward capable. I know for a fact san andreas works but vice city and gta3 may not * +
