hey in dragon age 2 i came across a tricky fight, its where u help the mages an advance to the docks and there a blood mage near statue and she attacks, a pride demon appears and like x20 plus slades come at my party. any tips here as my party drops dead fast when these slades come at us in 5's or more. * +

i tried running away lol but dead ends and x10 slades chase me and that massive pride demon has a nasty habit of holding u still with a spell and thats what usually ko's me if i get caught in that blue beam spell. my other party members drop fast, i got x2 mages and cross bow guy and me as a rouge. * +

OK, you need to keep her busy by always having someone attacking her, the more you keep her busy, the less Shades will appear because I think she's the one summoning them. It would be best if you go into this fight with 3 mele characters and a Mage. * +

After you win this one, it gets harder before you leave the docks. There is one more big battle, harder than this one. Remember that demon that was working with Merril? You'll face one just like it with a million Shades and a few Blood Mages. Won't be easy and it is harder than the one u talking about now. * +

I only found one fight difficult and that was the big dragon in the mines. The rest was easy on normal difficulty. Just pause a lot more and carefully give commands if you're having trouble. * +

man i think fenis left party i couldnt choose him at select party, he could withstand alot of punishment. i find taking out blood mage 1st is easier and pride demon is'nt much of a threat its just the large number of slades. i find the stun move helps abit. will try again later on. it seemed impossible at 1st try lol * +

i might have saved game back before docks when it let u choose party. defo putting averile this time for to act as tank, could'nt select fenis he was rather faded in colour and it would'nt let me use him. think i should of helped templars instead might have easier fights. * +

Fenris hates Mages because he was a Slave at Tevinter. The only way he would help you fight against them is if you have enough friendship points. *
