just get a cheap slim, some are more pro ne to failures than others. seen them previously for cheaper than that with a top game. check out hotukdeals * +

Did Sony fix that bug with PS3's and bigger HDD's installed? If so I would buy the lowest gig slim and buy a 500 or 640GB hardrive to put in it. * +
