Nintendo has really been giving us plenty of freebies with its past few releases. The Wii had Wii Sports included in the box, and its new 3DS has even more for those that cant afford a game with their shiny new console. * +

Lets start with Face Raiders. Its a kind of FPS, where the enemies are whatever faces you take photos of. The 3DS animates them and gives them life. This is a really fun little game, and you will enjoy the animations of the faces. * +

There are some AR cards included with the 3DS too. Most of them are character cards that let you see whatever character is on the card in whatever place you put the card. Personally, i havnt tried one of them yet, i went straight to the Question Mark card. * +

This is the game card. You get to play a selection of different games from shooting to fishing. The what i think is a billiards game is the weakest of the bunch as it can be hard to see where the ball will go. The ideas are good though, with the shooting game sometimes the target is obscured and you have to move (yes, physically move) to be able to shoot it. * +

I like the fishing game the best though. Theres a huge amount of fish to get, and you can see which ones you have in the book. You get different conditions for fish to show up, some say they only appear at night... Im not sure if thats nigh real time or if i need to be in a dark place. Getting them all will take a long time. * +

I do know that the colour of the surface you place the card on changes the background in the fishing game. Another unique thing about the 3DS is the meter and Game Coins. The 3DS counts how many steps you walk, and for every 100 steps you take, you get a coin. These can be spent on unlocking new features and games with the Question Mark card. * +

Retail games are also going to be compatable with them too. The new Dead or Alive game is to have collectable trophies that you buy with these coins. The 3DS has 2 cameras on its case, These allow you to take 3D photos. The resolution isnt that high, but its a nice feature to have. * +

The StreetPa55 Mii Plaza game is one i havent had chance to try yet. Its meant to be an RPG game where you fight enemies with Miis that you collect from other people with StreetPass. This is also another game thats compatable with Game Coins. * +
