A JRPG, by Atlus exclusively for the Nintendo DS. Graphics: They are very detailed, with great animation and other little touches. Atlus did a good job with this games visuals. Some good 3D effects in parts too. * +

Gameplay: Its a turn based JRPG. You can see the enemies outside of battles, so you can choose to avoid or fight. In battle, allies and enemies have a 3x3 grid, you can move about, as is usual if you are further from the enemy, you take less damage from them. * +

You can also use special skills to move the enemies so 2 or more are on the same spot, and this increases the damage you cause. You can also learn special abilities to get around the World Map, such as being able to set bombs to clear blockages. * +

Story: You play as Stocke, a member of the Military. You get given a book called the ''White Chronicle''. This allows you to go back to past events and change the outcome. Theres an event where you have to get through a mine, and there is a blockage. You have to visit the past, and rescue the Merchant that has the explosives to be able to get through. * +

There are a lot of events in this game, and many of them depend on being in the right place at the right time. Overall: Atlus certainly know how to give people a great RPG, and this is one of the best out there... More so considering it has been achieved on the humble DS. * +
