Well tonight the serious tests began. . My friends sanyo 42 inch 1080p through hdmi vs my 28 inch panasonic crt. . . But how did they compare? Well we set his machine to 1080p and the dash, menus etc where very sharp, much sharper than my tv. . But then we played a game. Mw2 was the game and hmmm yes ok the picture was a bit cleaner and sharper but not really a huge advance. * +

Over my 28 inch crt running through rgb. It seems if i do advance to hd then the only serious benefits are gonna be a sharper dash and clearer text/writing. Is it really worth spending the money for these advancements? * +

I am sorry but the difference between sd and hd is only really noticeable when it comes to small text/writing etc. In game graphics the difference is hardly noticeable. * +
