My friend has to decided out of two 20 gig drives but doesnt know which is best, newest, most reliable etc. One is made in china and has no x804671-003 and the other is made in korea x804669-003. The one made in china has silver strip on outside but other doesnt, any ideas which is best to pick and which is the most recent. I would a55 ume the china has one is the newest but i dont know. * +

They are both the same thing really if all he wants to do is have a tiny HDD just to store a bit of content then it won't matter will it. The ones with silver strips were typically around since the premium models back to release, ones with grey strip didn't turn up til a bit later but it doesn't really tell you anything about their age * +

Well they were 13Gb actually cos a bunch of space is reserved for emulation and cr*p. I am a55 uming it hasn't changed lol * +

He is only using it as a base drive, all his stuff will be stored on external. He has a 60 gig normal 360 drive but it seems to of developed a prob. * +
