I bought this today for 19.99. The game comes with 3cd's, the game, a music c d and a disk with desktop accessories for pc. Its a side scrolling shooter thats only going to appeal to shoot em up fans. There are various modes, original arcade, 360 version, arrange 1.1 and black label 'this was dlc in japan and includes a new character, stage and harder difficulty level. The first version * +

I tried was the standard arcade mode. First thing that struck me was how poor the graphics where. Blocky sprites and low res backgrounds. The initial screen size is rather small but you can adjust it to however you want, completely full screen if you wish. I started to play it and stopped noticing about the graphics and enjoyed the game. Games like this are not about graphics but playability * +

And racking up high scores. If you are to play these type of games properly then you dont continue. Just one credit and see what score you can get. I tried the 360 mode next and the graphics are a lot cleaner and higher res, gone is the horrible blockyness of the original arcade version and full screen looks rather nice. Its still not the best looking shooter out there but its generally rather * +

Nice and you wont wanna go back to the arcade version after playing the enhanced 360 modes. The music is fantastic, just what you would expect from a japanese shooter like this. This is the kind of game i used to pay 60 plus on import yrs ago and to get all this for under 20 pound is fantastic. I really hope it sells enough and then maybe we will get the sequel. And well worth the money if your a old school shoot em up fan. . . If your not a shoot em fan, which most of you propably aint, then its hard to recommend. I only saw it in 2 shops, game and gamestation, game was 19.99 and gamestation was 39.99, i think amazon are doing it for 16.99 but if shops are your only option then get it from game. The version you get at the moment is the delux edition * +
